Five smooches means sex happens fairly often in the story and/or includes much detail and coarse descriptive language.

Four smooches means sex happens fairly often in the story and there may be details but little or no coarse descriptive language.

Three smooches means there may be one or more sex scenes, but there is little to no detail.

Two smooches means there is no sex in the story at all, but there may be intense kissing and petting.

One smooch means there is no sex in the story at all, though there may (or may not) be sweet kisses.
